Our History
When Jack and Betty Sousley founded Sousley Sound, Inc. in 1968, MUZAK's business background music was their primary focus. Paging, intercom, and sound reinforcement systems were natural compliments to the MUZAK delivery business. The Sousleys sold the company to Leo & Karen Lee in 1982. Leo and Karen are actively involved with the day-to-day operations of the company. Leo as General Manager, and Karen responsible for Sales and Customer Service.
The deregulation of the telephone companies offered a significant opportunity. We expanded into the telephone industry and installed our first electronic key telephone system in 1980 and began operating as Sousley Sound & Communications. From there, we have diversified into other branches of sound & communications. We now install whole house, business sound distribution, and home theatre systems. We also install and service sound and video systems for sports fields, entertainment and auditorium facilities, churches, schools, professional offices, and clinics.
Video surveillance for businesses and homes has become a fast-growing part of our business. Owners and managers need to "always keep eyes” on their investments from anywhere in the world. We are now able to do all those things easily.
